I had an incredible experience using Creative Healing last week. One of my long time clients whom I’d not seen for some time came in with an odd problem. She’d had bunion surgery. The surgery had been successful but she ended up with a black spot on the metatarsal area near the big toe. When she went in to have it checked the ‘medical professional’ told her it was just a deep bruise and it would go away. Some time later it became more painful and swollen and her leg started to swell. She went back. They told her she had a Baker cyst behind her knee. Still again it got worse and she went to her regular doctor. He did a test and found she had a deep infection in her veins and he suspected an infection had begun after the surgery and then traveled up her leg. Though she didn’t have clots, he recommended she wear a brace and a support stocking on that leg. When she asked how long, he actually told her she’d have to wear it forever to prevent blood clots. She had done this for at least a week before she called me.
She told me the story and all that came out of my mouth was NOOOOOOOOOO.
So, I looked in my Modern Essential oils text first. I used clove oil diluted in my massage oil 1/1 ratio. I applied the clove oil to her whole leg from knee down. I performed the movements for the filter bed on the left leg. The foot was purple. The calf of her leg was tight and discolored and the texture was lumpy. The ankle wasn’t severely swollen but you could tell it wasn’t right. She had bought special flip flops that fit loosely and matched the ‘stocking’. The sandals were bigger than her normal size as the left foot was about 1/4 thicker on the bottom that the right foot.
Her upper left leg wasn’t as tight as the calf but you could tell the texture was all wrong. Small lumps under the skin and nothing felt smooth. Her hamstrings were tight, the knee was swollen and she could only bend it about 30 degrees.
After working on the filter bed, I did the small circles on the calf decongesting the tissue and then vacuum movements over and over. I began low and slowly worked my way up the leg as the tissue began to soften. I reapplied the clove/ olive oil mixture when the skin soaked it up. She never reported any sensation from the clove oil.
I worked on the attachments around the knee, the hamstrings and quads all with the intention of decongesting and smoothing the tissue so the circulation would improve.
After working on the left leg in this way for about 30 minutes I proceeded with regular massage working with the right leg, neck shoulders and back as she was certainly tight because of the stress.
I finished her massage with the general treatment.
The leg looked slightly better as she walked out without the stocking on.
Two days later she returned.
The foot, ankle and entire leg looked normal.
She had her cute sandals back on and she showed me how she could bend her knee up to her ‘bum’
(she’s from London).
She said she’d cursed me the night after I worked on her because she’d gotten up ‘7 bloody times to pee’.
We were both thrilled. She came back for another session last week and the leg is still fine and she hasn’t worn that ugly stocking since the first day she saw me.
I love my work….
I wish I had real photos to show you the difference… I rarely think of doing so.
